Today I watched the greatest movie
EVER. It's called 'The Secret' and it was the greatest eye opening experience I had ever had. I am going to be buying the book on Monday and I must say that I am going to be making a lot of changes in my life.
All of my negative thoughts will parish and I will try my best to keep a positive attitude and achieve my goals. Toby and I are going to be doing 'Vision Boards' which is where you post things on a cork board and everyday you visual yourself living in the moment and having those things. Like if you want more money set a goal for yourself, believe you can achieve it, and you will get it. Pretty much what it consists of is if you wake up in the morning and stub your toe and then you think "How can this get any worse?" then it will get worse because all you can focus on is how much worse it can get. Now if you wake up in a good mood and have good thoughts then your day will be good and you will attract more good thoughts and more luck.
So good thoughts bring good thoughts and vice versa. I can't believe how much of an eye opener it was!
So now I have a better attitude of myself and a more positive attitude about getting a job and being confident to get that job. The dvd said that there was more than enough for everyone in the world so don't think that everyone will be running and jumping toward the same thing. The universe is abundant and once you realize that you will be able to understand and use the Secret for yourself. You can only do for you and not for anyone else; our only purpose/mission in our life is whatever WE want our mission/purpose to be. Like myself for example; I want to become a Psychologist to help people work through their problems and be able to live their life day to day knowing that they are something special/important and that they are needed and that they can change themself/things for the better. That is the mission/purpose that I am giving myself. No one else told me to do "god" didn't tell me to do it and as a matter of fact "God" doesn't give us our purpose/mission for life. So if you are waiting around for "god" to tell you what to do with your life then you are fucked over because he isn't going to; he can only guide you to that mission/purpose.
Some people don't believe it and those that do believe in it and I noticed by looking on some boards that the non-believers and believers are pretty much at each other's throats. Now I'm not going to tell those who don't believe in it to do so but I think they should at least give it a try before they blow it off. But I'm not going to push it on them if they don't want it to be pushed. I'll just stay in my own little corner and life my life following the Law of Attraction and if it works for me then I'll be happy about it and if not well I don't want to think about that. I truly believe with every fiber of my being that this works and I will keep doing it until it does work.
I'm going to go now I'm really thirsty so I'm going to go grab a glass of tea and watch some more tv and then probably a movie. I'll be cleaning this blue room and the laundry room when I get up so I should probably go to bed early tonight.....nahhhh! LOL
